A few days ago, a batch of 9 tons of frozen shrimps produced and processed by Guangdong Aquatic Products Co., Ltd. passed the inspection and quarantine inspection of Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and then exported to Panama. This is the first time Guangdong shrimp has been exported to Panama.
As of December 12, this year, Guangdong shrimp exports totaled 21,100 tons, with a value of 1.699 billion yuan, an increase of 20% and 9% respectively compared with the same period last year. There were 26 exporting countries or regions, an increase of 3 countries compared with the same period of last year, and 6 countries or regions with an export volume of more than 1,000 tons. Exports to the Middle East and the Americas have grown significantly this year, with Saudi Arabia growing by 807%, the UAE by 91% and Chile by 47%. Nowadays, the main market for Guangdong shrimp exports is constantly changing. From the traditional international market, it has gradually turned to new overseas markets such as the Middle East and the Americas. Some enterprises have tried the domestic market at the same time.
